The training is open to non-mental health professionals, including bodyworkers and natural medicine facilitators. These participants will receive a Certificate of Completion documenting total CE hours. This certificate does not constitute APA-approved CE credit.

The number of CE awarded to these participatns reflects a reduced number of credit hours relative to total instructional time in order to allow for limited absence while maintaining the integrity of the learning objectives, as well as for experiential and mindfulness activities built in the program.

This training may also support educational competencies for natural medicine facilitators in Colorado in alignment with guidance from the Colorado Natural Medicine Board.

Participants are responsible for determining applicability to their individual licensure or certification requirements and for practicing within their professional scope.

There is no cost to receive the certificate of attendance, but the requirement to attend all sessions on time (signing in and out) and fill out an evaluation and assessment form at the end of the training that will be provided to participants.

1. CE for general practitioners

This training includes both licensed mental health professionals and non-clinical participants.

CE credit is awarded for instructional time only and does not include extended experiential or mindfulness-based practices.

CE credits for psychologists are provided by the Spiritual Competency Academy (SCA) which is sponsoring this program. The Spiritual Competency Academy is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Spiritual Competency Academy maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

LCSW, LPCC, LEP, LPC, and LMFTs, and other mental health professionals from states other than California need to check with their state licensing boards as to whether or not they accept programs offered by approved sponsors of CE by the American Psychological Association.

Participants may use this documentation toward professional or regulatory requirements at their own discretion, including those outlined by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies and the Colorado Natural Medicine Board. It is the responsibility of each participant to determine how this training applies to their professional scope and regulatory context.
